This is an Android Adaptive Icon template that automates the process of rendering all the sizes that need to be bundled with apps running on Android 8.0 and later. The template exports foreground and background layers which are used to render adaptive icons on the device.

How do I use this?

Photoshop Instructions

Double-click the layer named 'Edit me and save'. This opens the a Smart Object. Inside this Smart Object, there are two layer groups named ‘Foreground Layer’ and ‘Background Layer’. Create your adaptive icon glyph in the foreground layer and set the background in the background layer. After saving this Smart Object, the multiple sizes in the main PSD file will automatically be rendered. In the ‘Masks’ layer group you can hide/unhide the various layer masks that Android will apply to your icon when it is run on a real device.
