This is a lite version of the iOS App Icon Template available on applypixels.com. What does that mean? Well, this is a free preview of the real template. In this version you can get a sense of working with Smart Objects to render out icon sizes and it includes a preview of how your icon scales.
Double-click the 1024 x 1024 Smart Object named 'Edit me and save'. This opens the Icon.psb file. Create your artwork in this canvas. After saving the Icon.psb, the multiple sizes in the main PSD file should automatically be rendered.
